BSM SECTION 22

Burnt Store Marina Golf and Country Club fairway view Burnt Store Marina Entry Sign

Burnt Store Marina Section 22
is a gated community consisting of approximately 1920 residences, or units, spread out over 600 acres with diverse housing styles.  Located on Charlotte Harbor, only 10 miles from the Gulf of America through the Boca Grande Pass, we are surrounded by barrier islands with some of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

The master association for all of BSM, including independent homes, is commonly referred to as Section 22 HOA.  It collects an annual fee through its property manager to cover the maintenance of the common areas, roads, access systems and infrastructure.

Our community is also unique in that it is one of the few gated communities with both a 27-hole golf course and a privately-owned marina. The marina is the largest deep-water marina on the west coast of Florida and offers wet and dry storage in addition to a boat launch ramp. We offer a Fitness, Racquet and Pool Club with a workout center, classes, pool/spa as well as tennis & pickleball courts.

BSM GOLF & CC

Located on the Lee/Charlotte County Line, Burnt Store Marina Golf & Country Club is a semi-private club serving both counties.  The Club offers a beautiful 27-hole Executive Golf Course.   A quick look at Burnt Store Marina's executive course shows how exciting 27 holes of golf can be when two golf legends are given native Florida woodland and a free hand to design.

The club features Linkside Cafe Restaurant and proshop offering a vibrant Activity Club for Members' Social, Dining and Recreational Enjoyment.

US SAILING ASSOCIATION

For first-time sailors, US Sailing ensures that they will learn from experienced and certified instructors who follow national guidelines and are trained using a nationwide curriculum.  For sailing programs and one-design sailing organizations, US Sailing hosts networking events and symposiums that bring together experts who address the latest developments in these areas of the sport.  Young sailors who are just starting out in the sport can learn about sailboat racing through one of many USA Junior Olympic Sailing Festivals organized by US Sailing and host organizations every year.

For racing sailors, US Sailing provides an equal level playing field by training and certifying race officials, judges, and umpires and by ensuring standardized rules and sailing instructions.  For sailboat owners who enjoy competing in offshore events, US Sailing provides rating certificates such as IRC and ORR to enable boats of various sizes to compete against each other. Safety on the water is an essential part of US Sailing’s training programs, including powerboat courses. Our Safety at Sea Courses are required by many offshore regatta organizers.
